Charles Franklin

I recently answered a Craigslist ad of a local artist seeking a photographer to do some shots of him for a book he’s working on.  It was an unpaid gig, though in exchange for my services I will get my name in the book and he will be giving me a custom piece of art well worth my time and effort.  I figured it was a good way to get my name out there and get some more experience.  You can never have too much experience.

Anyways, the artist, Charles Franklin, is a local illustrator who is frequently asked to do dramatic hand-drawn portraits of celebrities, politicians, entertainers, and the like.  From what I can tell, he’s got quite a bit of talent and is likely to make a big name for himself in the near future.  I had a great time shooting him and hanging out with him and I hope to work with him in the future.
